What is your warranty policy?

Most of our products have a one-year warranty, while camera heads and articulation parts have a 6 month warranty.

Products may be excluded from warranty coverage due to wear and tear, misuse, negligence, improper storage, battery leakage, or use of non-approved accessories. Damage from environmental factors like water, moisture, heat, oil, cold, dust, chemicals, improper use, physical breakage, and extreme conditions is also excluded. Consumable parts such as plastic skids, batteries, and accessories are not covered.

I downloaded the Vividia Ablescope software, but it is not showing an image. What am I doing wrong?

  1. Connect the borescope via USB.
  2. Open the software and select your borescope camera from the top right dropdown menu. Note that it might default to your computer's integrated webcam, so make sure to select the borescope camera instead.
  3. Click the preview icon (play button) to start the live image.

Is my Borescope water/oil proof?

The waterproof rating for borescopes is listed in the product specifications or manual. Many products have a rating of IP67 or IP68, offering strong protection against water and moisture. Some, like our underwater cameras, are specifically designed for underwater use.

Can my Borescope handle high temperatures?

Most borescopes can withstand heat up to 140°F. However, we recommend inspecting at cooler temperatures for better image quality and camera longevity. We also offer borescopes specifically designed for high-temperature applications. Contact us or visit our webpage for more options.

Do your borescopes display in color? Can they take pictures and videos?

Yes, all of our borescopes display in color. Most of them also allow you to record photos and videos, with only a few exceptions.

Why is my camera image blurry when image blurry when I put it into a dark/enclosed space ?

  1. Camera or Sensor Issue: Problems may not be noticeable in daylight but become apparent in enclosed, lit environments.
  2. Lighting Level: Adjust the light level on your borescope for a clearer picture.
  3. Lens Cleaning: Clean the camera lens with a soft cloth and isopropyl alcohol.

I have an existing Vividia borescope. Is the probe interchangeable?

Some borescopes have fixed probes with specific lengths and diameters, while others offer interchangeable probe options. Please contact us with your requirements, and we will be happy to recommend the borescope model that best suits your needs.

What is the purpose of the additional cables/adapters included in my product package?

The extra cables are likely smartphone adapters, but they may also be used for other devices, such as a Wi-Fi box. The most commonly included adapters are for USB-C and Lightning ports. If you have questions about connecting or using any of these adapters, please contact us. My borescope is stuck when it is articulated. How do I get it straight again?

Your borescope is most likely in a locked position and can be unlocked to bend freely again. Please click on this link for a tutorial on how to unlock your scope.

I have only used my borescope a few times, and it has always had problems. Can this be covered under warranty?

Our borescopes come with a one-year warranty for manufacturing defects. If any issues are not reported before the warranty expires, the product won't be eligible for repair or replacement. However, we do offer generous discounts on upgrades and repairs for products experiencing issues beyond the warranty period.

My friend’s borescope works with a certain device (iPhone, Android, etc.), why doesn’t mine?

Devices like smartphones or tablets may vary in specifications, leading to compatibility challenges. The borescope may only be compatible with certain devices and may differ from similar models. Please refer to your instruction manual or check the model listed on your carrying case. Once you know the model, you can check the product page for more information. For any questions, please contact us, and we will be glad to help troubleshoot.

Is my Wi-Fi box compatible with Computers/PCs?

Our Wi-Fi boxes are specifically designed for use with mobile devices such as iPhones, iPads, and Android phones/ tablets. They do not work with computers. For computer connectivity, you can directly connect via the USB port using the recommended software.
