4-way articulaiton borescopes are borescopes where the camera head can be bent in 4 directions, right and left, up and down. 

This kind of articulation methods are traditional articulaiton, especially for medical endoscopes. With the rise of the joystick articlation borescopes, which can be easily operated for any directions, the four-way articulaiton borescopes are less and less popular on the markets.
